Good quality and unusual early 19th Century mahogany Wheel Barometer in excellent condition. The break-arch pediment over case, strung in ebony and boxwood and inset with long Fahrenheit, finely engraved silvered brass thermometer, hygrometer, 8-inch diameter barometer dial, profusely engraved with floral decoration, and signed spirit-level. c1815. 

An illustrious London-based instrument maker, working from premises in Coventry St. from 1805-54. patrons included King George III and the Duke of Clarence.
