Attractive and well-proportioned mid-19th Century ‘flame’ mahogany Stick Barometer in original condition. The “ogee” pediment over expertly hand-engraved ivory register plates with rack-and-pinion operated vernier and signed by the makers. The trunk of well-patinated ‘flame’ mahogany, concealing the original barometer tube which terminates behind turned cistern cover.
